Yeastar P-Series Cloud Edition Feature Code Reference

Introduction

Feature codes are short dial sequences (usually starting with *) that trigger specific phone system functions from any extension. This guide lists the most commonly used feature codes on Yeastar P-Series Cloud Edition with their default values.

Note: Feature codes can be customised by an admin at PBX Settings > Feature Codes. If a code below doesn't work on your system, check there for any changes.

Voicemail

Code Action
*97 Access your own voicemail box
*98 Access another extension's voicemail (prompts for extension number and PIN)

Call Transfers

Code Action
## Blind transfer (during a call — dial destination after pressing ##)
*3 Attended (warm) transfer (during a call)

Call Recording

Code Action
*1 Start/stop on-demand recording during a live call

Do Not Disturb (DND)

Code Action
*74 Toggle Do Not Disturb on/off for your extension

Call Forwarding

Code Action
*71 Enable unconditional call forward (all calls forwarded — prompts for destination)
*72 Enable call forward on busy
*73 Enable call forward on no answer
*070 Disable all call forwarding

Call Pickup

Code Action
*8 + ext Intercom to a specific extension (e.g. *81001)
** + ext Pick up a ringing call on another extension (directed call pickup)

Call Park

Code Action
Transfer to 6900 Park the active call (PBX announces assigned slot)
Dial slot number Retrieve a parked call (e.g. 6901)

Conference

Code Action
*23 Ad-hoc conference: merge two active calls into a conference

Extension Status

Code Action
*60 + ext Check if an extension is currently busy

Tips

  • To see all feature codes and customise them, go to PBX Settings > Feature Codes in the admin portal.
  • Feature codes work from any registered extension — desk phones, Linkus mobile, and Linkus Web.
  • Some codes require the extension to be in an active call to function (e.g. transfer codes, *1 for recording).

Summary

Keep this reference handy. The most frequently used codes in day-to-day operation are *97 (voicemail), *74 (DND), ** + extension (call pickup), and *1 (on-demand recording).
