Overview of the Yeastar P-Series Cloud Edition Admin Portal

Introduction

The Yeastar P-Series Cloud Edition admin portal is the web interface where you manage your entire phone system. This guide explains the main sections and how to navigate them.

Accessing the portal

Navigate to your PBX URL (e.g. https://yourcompany.ys7.com) and log in with your admin credentials.

Main navigation areas

Status Centre (Dashboard)

The landing page after login. Shows:
- Extension status — which extensions are registered (online) or offline
- Trunk status — whether your SIP trunks are registered
- Active calls — any calls in progress right now
- System alerts — warnings about configuration issues or resource usage

Extension and Trunk

Where you manage:
- Extension — create and configure user extensions
- Trunk — add and manage SIP trunks connecting to your phone provider
- Outbound Caller ID (DOD) — control what number external parties see

Call Control

Where you manage:
- Inbound Route — control where inbound calls go when they arrive
- Outbound Route — control which trunk is used for outbound calls and who can make them
- Auto Provisioning — configure IP phones automatically

Call Features

Where you manage:
- Ring Group — ring multiple extensions at once for a team
- IVR — interactive voice menus ("Press 1 for Sales")
- Queue — hold callers in a waiting line
- Conference — multi-party conference rooms
- Call Parking — park a live call and retrieve it from another phone

PBX Settings

System-level configuration including:
- Voice Prompt > Custom Prompts — upload recorded audio files (WAV format) for use in IVR, ring group announcements, etc.
- Voicemail — global voicemail settings
- Business Hours — define your working hours schedule
- Holiday — add bank holidays and closure dates

Reports

View and export:
- CDR (Call Detail Records) — full log of every call
- Call Recording — access recorded calls
- Statistics — call volume and performance data by extension or queue

Tips

  • Use the search bar at the top of the portal to jump directly to any setting.
  • Changes made in the portal only take effect after clicking Save and Apply — look for the orange Apply button that appears after edits.
  • The portal auto-refreshes extension and trunk status every 30 seconds.
